That means only one thing - the bowling season is not far away!!!!!!
The Haven, at 47 Cresta Ave, is the home of one of the finest small bowling clubs on the Shore, the home of The Badgers. Much is being done to prepare for the new season with extended decks, new paving, and refurbished Club Rooms all under way. Above all we have a new playing surface which is now greening up and is also well under way for a likely start in early October - and we ain't finished yet, there is more to come.
The Club is open to all comers who wish to learn the fine art of Lawn Bowling in a fun and friendly environment and we welcome new players at any time. We can supply the Bowls, you supply the smile. We can organise coaching to any level of play either at The Haven or elsewhere on the Shore. If you are new to the area and have bowled before, you would be welcome to join us for our Roll-Ups on Tuesdays evening and Saturdays afternoons.
Friday evenings is "Wind-Down Night" from 4pm to 8pm where you can sample some of our friendly banter and very social atmosphere. Come and meet some locals and members and find your way around.
