Despite the absence of two very experienced players The Badgers produced a fine win on Saturday when hosting Orewa in the Div.1 Mixed Competition. A substantial differential scored by Team 2 hoisted the overall differential to +21. The team of Eileen Ponting, Richard Ponting and promoted Kit, Jason Blackmore (covering for the regular player Garry Banks) played an almost flawless game and with a differential of 34 and Team 3 closed their game out with a +2 win giving us a total of 6 Bonus Points for the Round. Team 1 had an epic battle but the skip Warren Seeque was just too good for us on the day. Well played Warren!
It was a pleasure hosting Orewa, a very friendly Club, and we wish them well for the remainder of the Competition.
The Kits had a Bye this weekend and both Badgers and Kits are at The Haven next week 24th November.
