The first weekend of our Club Championship Finals - completed on the Sunnybrae artificial green on Sunday 14th June, saw Mandy Little take out the Womens Singles and Dan Markovina & Karl Glenn take out the the Mens Pairs.
It is important that we hold Club Championships to provide competition in all forms of the game, especially in a year that has been so disrupted at the business end of the season. It demonstrates that no matter what fate throws at us, the game can go on - one way or another.
Well done to all those who participated on the day, commiserations to those who did not quite make it, and our congratulations to those who did. The Centre Champ of Champs competitions start soon and our Club will be well represented once again.
